Glenn Connaughton, together with his wife Vida, co-founded Revolution Barbecue in 2009, a spice rub company that has taken the barbecue industry by storm. Glenn’s passion for barbecue began back in Arizona, where he was inspired by Bobby Flay’s “Grillin’ & Chillin” show. Glenn, who was also raised in New York City, felt that if Bobby Flay could barbecue, then so could he.

Glenn spent years perfecting his recipes and techniques, experimenting with different spices and rubs until he found the perfect blend. Together with his wife Vida, who shares his passion for barbecue, founded Revolution Barbecue with the goal of sharing their love for great barbecue with the world. The company quickly gained a following among barbecue enthusiasts, thanks to their unique spice rubs made with all-natural ingredients and free of harmful additives.

In addition to his work with Revolution Barbecue, Glenn is a prolific author. He has written two best-selling cookbooks: Smokin’ Southern BBQ and Easy BBQ, where he shares his secrets for creating the perfect barbecue. Glenn often hosts cooking demos and workshops, where he shares his techniques and recipes with aspiring pitmasters.
