Oven-Roasted Spaghetti Squash with Olive Oil and Veggie Time

Roasted Spaghetti Squash with Olive Oil and Veggie Time Seasoning

Spaghetti squash does not need much to be good. The goal here is to let the squash roast with the seasoning already in place so the flavor develops as it cooks, not after. Olive oil keeps the flesh from drying out, while Veggie Time Seasoning builds savory flavor directly into the strands.

As it roasts, the squash softens and separates naturally, with light browning that adds depth without overpowering its natural sweetness. The seasoning clings to the flesh, giving you evenly seasoned strands without extra steps or finishing work.

This is an easy, dependable way to cook spaghetti squash that works every time. It belongs next to smoked meats, on a vegetarian plate, or straight out of the bowl. Simple ingredients, solid technique, and seasoning that does its job.

Oven-Roasted Spaghetti Squash with Olive Oil and Veggie Time

This recipe is built around seasoning early and letting the oven do the work. By applying olive oil and Revolution Barbecue Veggie Time Seasoning before roasting, the squash develops flavor as it cooks rather than relying on a finish to carry the dish.

Spaghetti squash responds well to dry heat, especially when the cut side is placed down on the pan. This approach keeps the interior tender while allowing the edges to take on light caramelization. The strands separate cleanly without becoming watery or overworked.

Veggie Time Seasoning is designed to enhance vegetables during cooking, not mask them. As the squash roasts, the seasoning integrates into the flesh, creating balance and consistency throughout. The result is a vegetable dish that feels complete, dependable, and flexible enough to fit into just about any meal.

  • 1 medium spaghetti squash
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Revolution Barbecue Veggie Time Seasoning

Directions

  1. Prepare The Squash: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Slice the spaghetti squash lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  2. Season Before Roasting: Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the inside of the squash halves, then sprinkle with Revolution Barbecue Veggie Time Seasoning, rubbing gently to coat the flesh evenly.
  3. Roast The Squash: Place the squash cut-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet and roast until the flesh is tender and easily pierced with a fork.
  4. Shred The Strands: Flip the squash over and use a fork to pull the flesh into long strands, keeping them inside the shell.
  5. Serve Warm: Transfer to a serving bowl or serve directly from the shell.
